One of the best things in cooking is the fact that the element of “creation” exists in such a huge percentage. It doesn’t need to be something special that you are cooking but the fact that you are doing in your own personal way and you combine ingredients can have a great result.
The following dish isn’t something special in terms of relevance to Greece but it has all the elements that make love cooking. It has a variety of ingredients, it has fish (which i love), it is to cook and it looks great on the dish…which is important as it increases your appetite!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 -4 Seam Bream fillets
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 10 asparagus cut
- Several baby potatoes
- Olive Oil, Salt and Pepper
- 1 lemon
Make sure that you boil the asparagus and the baby potatoes in small deep pot really well. Drain them well and leave them by the side to keep them warm.
In a big frying pan add a bit of olive oil and in medium heat fry a little bit the sea bream fillets skin down for 3-4 minutes. Just about to get the skin a bit brownish.
Then remove them from the frying pan and place them on an baking pan and grill them for 15-20 minutes in high heat in order to cook them properly.
Serve ideally with some lemon. Nothing difficult, nothing really fancy but a combination of great flavours for your …lunch/dinner…
